This series uses a new refrigerant called R32, which has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 677. This is two-thirds less than its predecessor, the refrigerant R410A, which has a GWP of 2,088.
R32 is not new – it’s currently used in the blended R410A refrigerant, which is a mix of R32 and R125.
